DDC Technology Day | Effects of extraction solvents on the analysis of active ingredients in feed flavors
Abstract: The same feed aroma was extracted with anhydrous ethanol, n-hexane and dichloromethane. The samples were detected by gas chromatography and the effective components were quantified by external standard method. The recovery rates of three different solvents were compared. The results showed that the recovery of the main components in the feed flavor was highest in dichloromethane.
