Dr. Kong Lujun: Swine immunity and its production and Application

On April 23, the 3rd Summit Forum on Animal Immune Nutrition and Healthy Aquaculture was solemnly held in Nanjing. Dr Kong Lu Jun, group technology director of Dacheng food (Asia) Limited, made a keynote speech entitled "pig immunity and its production application" at the meeting. Today we share the report of Dr. Kong, who was compiled by DDC marketing department, Wang Renjie.

1. The immune system consists of immune organs, immune cells and immune molecules.

The function of the immune system is to resist invasive foreign things, remove foreign bodies and repair damaged tissues.

Immunity can be divided into congenital immunity and acquired immunity. Acquired immunity can be divided into active immunity and passive immunity. The vaccination vacancy window appears in piglets from 3 to 6 weeks after birth.

2. Intestinal immunity and characteristics: More than 60% of immune cells and 70%-80% of immunoglobulin synthesis cells are concentrated in the gastrointestinal tract, of which more than 80% are secretory IgA synthesis cells. The intestinal mucosal immune barrier consists of non-specific immune barrier and specific immune barrier.

Functions of intestinal microorganisms: nutrition and health, prevention of pathogenic bacteria colonization through competition, location and maintenance of normal mucosal immunity.

Intestinal immunity is the key to pig production, the overall health depends on intestinal health, intestinal health depends on intestinal nutrition.

3. Immune response and nutritional exhaustion: When stress, immunity and disease occur, alienation of nutrients in animals increases, synthesis decreases, growth inhibition decreases, and animal production performance decreases.

4. Products to improve health and performance include specific minerals, vitamins, polyunsaturated fatty acids, acidifiers, enzymes, probiotics, probiotics, oligosaccharides, plant extracts, nucleotides, antioxidants, immune stimulants, specific amino acids, functional fibers, etc.
